Two operating companies of Elgin Equipment Group participated in this show—Norris Screen and the Gilbert Electric unit of Mining Controls Inc.—as well as Cook Legacy, an Ohio-based company who partners with Norris to build small hydro power plants. Attendance was excellent, varying between 500 to 700 paid attendees and exhibitors on the floor at any given time. Attendees largely consisted of purchasing agents, engineers, contractors, and developers of renewable energy projects.
